NETWORK
Part of the vision of BCI is building and erecting an authentic apostolic network with a global reach and impact. The vision was realized after a series of apostolic conferences in the Cook Islands when the Spirit of the God prompted the hearts of those who attended to express their need for a new kind of network that will continue the facilitation and perpetuation the divine deposit and impartation in these conferences (See reports on the Cook Islands below).

The network is called GAN (Global Apostolic Network) and out of its inception in the Cook Islands, the Islands of Tahiti and the Solomon Islands have opened up in which plans are underway for apostolic invasion into these territories. We envision that more and more Islands and nations will open swiftly in months and years to come, which will find GAN an appropriate network to be part of; that provides apostolic covering and resources for their augmentation, development and advancement in the purposes of God.

GAN COOK ISLANDS WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

‘Women by Design’
By Tina Vaka

Ema Pisia; Raewyn Beattie (Cyrus Vaka); Tina Vaka; Lynette Leota; Inez Manu-Sione
GAN Cook Islands held its very first women’s conference, featuring guest speakers Tina Vaka, Ema Pisia, Inez Manu-Sione, Raewyn Beattie and Lynette Leota – all Pastors and elders from Breakthrough Churches in Auckland and Brisbane. The theme for the conference was ‘Women by Design’, which covered topics such as women in leadership, Paradigm shifts for women, God’s blueprint and pattern for women and Equality & Liberation of women as God intended. The conference was well attended by many women from all walks of life, and it was also a breakthrough to have many women from different church denominations come together to hear the messages and unanimously adhere to God’s requirement and standard for women today. The feedback was very positive, with testimonies from women in their 70’s who accepted the challenge to change and not be defined by their culture, social customs and religious practices. There were testimonies of women being set free from their past, old mentalities and practices; as well as women who were inspired and activated in their God given purpose in business, family, ministry, church, government and so much more.

There were times of fellowship set up by the team outside of the conference, which were specifically aimed at building relationships across borders of church denominations, social status, and age. It was great to see women come together without any agenda except to enjoy the freedom of the Kingdom of God that allows women to have authentic encounters with each other regardless of any differences.

In addition to the conference, there were other key initiatives that the team was able to participate in through strategic meetings, and other significant encounters with women and leaders of various sectors of life. Some of the team were able to hold sessions with youth leaders of the nation, imparting Kingdom principles and life; shifting their paradigms about being a young person in a small island, to seeing the impact and change they could have within their own cosmos and beyond. The team was given the opportunity to also speak at the largest high school’s assembly, where we encouraged the students to excel and see themselves as the future generation of their nation, valuable black pearls that were being shaped and formed for a great future. The students and staff received the messages well, and we are hopeful of further networking in the future with the schools to affect change with young people in the nation

There were also strategic meetings held with GAN members and the core team of GAN. These meetings were significant in consolidating the work that has already been carried out by David Vaka in previous visits, and the GAN members on the ground in the Cook Islands. In an open session in which teaching was done on ‘Governmental Prayer’, there was clarity and equalization taking place with all who attended, understanding this important resource in the apostolic move of God today to literally change nations through prayer. There was also feedback given from GAN members of the change and realignment of different sectors of life in the nation, back to God’s purpose and original intent for each one. GAN members testified of the power of the apostolic grace to activate authentic shifts and change in workplaces, families, governments, agriculture, education, business and churches. Truly God is changing a nation through these people as they yield to His current apostolic move today.

Probably one of the most significant strategies for each visit to the Cook Islands has been the amazing team of people on the ground - particularly the GAN core team and members, who continue the work after each visit is completed. This has been vital to the proliferation of not only the message of apostolic reformation, but also the strategizing for the next steps in fulfilling God’s will, purpose and plan for this nation. Because of this team of people, we are confident of the swift and authentic manifestation of God’s will in the nation, and the forceful advancement of His Kingdom throughout this land.
